Merchant Gases | Our oxygen, nitrogen, argon, helium, hydrogen, and medical and specialty gases enable industrial and medical customers to improve their environmental performance, product quality and productivity. We supply large-volume customers through small, generated gas on-site plants; medium-sized customers through liquid and bulk product delivered by tank truck; and small-volume customers through cylinders and dewars.
Tonnage Gases, Equipment and Energy | In Tonnage Gases, we supply very large quantities of oxygen, nitrogen, hydrogen and carbon monoxide to customers under long-term, 15–20 year contracts. We generally build a facility specifically for a customer and serve them through a pipeline system or an on-site plant. In Equipment and Energy, we supply liquefied natural gas heat exchangers, air separation units, hydrogen separation systems, cryogenic storage and transportation vessels, and a suite of technology solutions to serve energy markets.
Electronics and Performance Materials | Our expertise in chemical synthesis, analytical technology, process engineering and surface science enables us to provide a variety of materials to the silicon and compound semiconductor, display, photovoltaic, coatings, inks, adhesives, civil engineering, personal care, institutional and industrial cleaning, mining, oil field, polyurethane and other global processing industries.
Healthcare | We supply respiratory therapies, home medical equipment and infusion services to more than 420,000 patients in 16 countries, affording them cost-effective treatment and greater freedoms in their homes. Our offerings include oxygen, home nebulizer, sleep management and anti-infective therapies, as well as beds, wheelchairs and other products and services. Today, we hold leading market positions in Spain, Portugal and the United Kingdom.
